Vincent Smith has a Degree in Music from Rutgers University and has studied at Rhythm 天美传媒官网s Institute in Ahmadabad, India and Taalim School of Indian Music in Edison, NJ. He is a senior disciple of world-renowned Tabla Guru, Pandit Divyang Vakil, who teaches a harmonious compilation of modern and classical aspects of Indian classical music. Vincent has many years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels and has immersed himself in the philosophy, spirituality, and culture of Indian classical music. He has performed professionally since the age of fourteen and has studied a variety of music from respected teachers including Jazz, Classical, Rock, Modern and African Dance Accompaniment, and World Music. He enjoys teaching and spreading musical knowledge by using multicultural instruments and styles to encourage communication, understanding, and acceptance through the language of music.
