ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø student Allison Clay ’12, was declared the winner of 107.7 The Bronc’s ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Top Student Chef. Clay’s winning recipe, Nutella Ganache Cupcakes with Vanilla Mascarpone Icing, will be featured on the menu at PJ’s Pancake House, 154 Nassau Street, Princeton, N.J., beginning April 2.
Clay, an Elementary Education and English dual major, and a member of the women’s tennis team, was one of the three winners chosen out of 50 submissions to face off in the kitchen and have their meals judged during ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Top Student Chef Performance Cook-Off on March 22 on the Lawrenceville campus. The finalists and their recipes included graduate student Laura Klockner and her Buffalo Chicken Mac ‘n’ Cheese, and Amanda Abdill ’12 and her Barbecue Quesadillas.
For her cooking expertise, Clay also received an 18-piece Wolfgang Puck stainless steel cookware set and $100 Advantage Plus membership from Sam’s Club; $50 in Bronc Bucks from ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Dining Services, and a $50 gift certificate to PJ’s Pancake House, owned by ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø alumnus John Procaccino ’97. Procaccino holds bachelor’s degrees in Management and Organizational Behavior.
