A knowing sun seemed to smile on the futures of 1,347 new graduates of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø and Westminster Choir College over three days of Commencement ceremonies on May 10, 11 and 12.

Andrew Westfall ’12 took second place, and Stephen Johnston ’13 received third place honors.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø proudly bestowed the honorary Doctor of Science upon Dr. Maureen Maguire ’75 at the University’s 147th Undergraduate Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 11. President Mordechai Rozanski also conferred 806 baccalaureate degrees to students who had successfully completed their studies the previous week. They join 410 who received their diplomas the night before at the Graduate and College of Continuing Studies Commencement, and 131 who will receive theirs at the 83rd Westminster Choir College Commencement on Saturday.

A Political Science and Global Multinational Studies dual major, Angelique Olmo ’12 already had vital international experience the day she set foot on ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø’s Lawrenceville campus.

President Mordechai Rozanski delivered his annual Town Hall address on April 26, championing the value of a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø education, as witnessed by student achievement and engagement, continual academic innovation, and the institution’s solid commitment to affordability. Overall, he reported that ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø was doing well.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø proudly bestowed the honorary Doctor of Humane Letter upon Aaron Gast, Ph.D., trustee emeritus of the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation, at the University’s graduate and College of Continuing Studies ceremony on Thursday, May 10. President Mordechai Rozanski conferred 410 degrees to students who had successfully completed their studies.
