Basking Ridge, N.J., resident Heather Shankman ’12, who will present this year’s student address at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø’s Undergraduate Commencement on May 11, did not let a serious heart ailment keep her from her goals.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø’s annual Awards Banquet on April 28 featured the prestigious President’s Award.

The prestigious President’s Award was bestowed upon Loni Chasar ’12, Brian Williams ’12 and Heather Jones ’12.

Jessica Burgh ’12 is the first child of a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø graduate who also happens to be a faculty member to earn a degree from the institution. Her father, Dr. Richard Burgh ’68, is a professor of Philosophy.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø was recognized for leading the way toward more effective teacher preparation, at the inaugural Showcase of Exemplary Practices: Excellence in Teacher Preparation on April 20 in Princeton, N.J.

The event also featured a scholarship video and performances from the spring production of The Producers inside the BLC Theater.
