Former New Jersey Gov. James J. Florio spoke at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø on March 22 as part of the Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics' 'Governing New Jersey Series.' A U.S. Congressman from 1974 through 1990 who also served three terms in the New Jersey General Assembly, Florio was the inaugural recipient of the Rebovich Institute Citizenship Award, presented in June 2011.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø students enjoyed a number of short-term international study tours throughout Europe, Asia and the Caribbean during the winter and spring breaks.

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Equestrian Team continues their ride to the top, with team co-captain Emiline Mylod ’13 advancing to Zones, the highest competition level before nationals. She will now compete against two top riders from every region within their zone on April 1.

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø chapter of the National Broadcasting Society (NBS) captured six first-place awards at the NBS’ 49th National Undergraduate Student Electronic Media Competition on March 24 in Jersey City, N.J.

Danielle Hickey ’11, a graduate of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø’s Master of Counseling Services program and a Ewing Public School teacher, was named a recipient of the 2011 Teacher as Hero Award on March 14 at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia.
